Your first consultation (90 minutes) could include the following

  • Anthropometric assessment (weight, height, waist circumference, body fat, muscle mass, water, bone mass and visceral fat measurements)
  • Biochemical assessment (please send any lab tests which have been done in the last year to Cath Day BEFORE your appointment- info@catherineday.co.za)
  • Clinical assessment (discussion regarding any symptoms you are experiencing) 
  • Dietary assessment (previous dietary intake is assessed, suggested changes and goals are formulated)
  • A resource manual is supplied along with your individualized eating plan help you reach your health goals

  • Should you like to attend with your spouse, you are more than welcome to (individual consultations for a couples are also offered)
  • Cath Day is registered with PathCare therefore she is able to send you to PathCare for any blood work that needs to be done according to your assessment

In addition to your first appointment, further nutritional education is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED should you like to achieve the goals WE SET the first consultation. Research has shown that bi-weekly to monthly visits to ANY health professional WHEN IT COMES TO LIFESTYLE CHANGES may assist YOU IN ACHIEVING YOUR GOALS.
